parsonage grill - Feb '17
After our major refurbishment of the hotel back in 2014, we have been working very hard to enhance the reputation of the restaurant and bar.
Under the guidance of Head Chef, Bertie Wright, we have continued to stay true to our philosophy of creating a menu which showcases mostly British cooking with a light modern touch along with special emphasis on our famous afternoon teas.
At the beginning of this year, we decided that the description of the restaurant as ‘The Old Parsonage Hotel Restaurant and Bar’ was a bit of a mouthful, excusing the pun! So now, our new name is ‘parsonage grill’. We have also given the design of the menus and bar list a makeover, along with the uniforms of our waiters and waitresses.

Old Parsonage News - Feb '17
The first half of 2014 saw the completion of a very big project. The complete, top to bottom refurbishment of this hotel. Everything within the ‘basic shell’ of the building, along with the outside terraces and gardens, was redesigned and renewed, we think to great effect.
We have retained and enhanced the unique magic essence of this iconic place. In addition, we decided to give the hotel restaurant and bar a new name…. it’s now known as the ‘parsonage grill’ (read more about this here)
